Bespoke counselling for adults & young people 11 years +

A safe, accepting, non judgemental space to talk

with zoe kaplinsky MBACP

The Process

I understand that life's challenges are unique and complex, we all have our own stories and lived experiences. Whether you are feeling anxious, depressed or just struggling at the moment counselling can be an opportunity to explore the emotional difficulties you may be experiencing, giving you space to try to understand why you’re feeling what you’re feeling, and start to know and understand yourself in a different way.

I offer a safe, confidential, accepting and non-judgemental space for you to express these uncomfortable feelings, thoughts and struggles that you may be having. I believe that everyone experiences their environment, relationships and the world differently. By working together you can hopefully gain deeper self awareness about your unique and valid world.

MY APPROACH

I work with adults, children and young people 11yrs+. Life can throw many challenges at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can control how we respond to them. Together we can explore how to learn about acceptance and exert your power of choice over whatever life throws at you, working more creatively if appropriate to create the most effective and comfortable safe space for you.

YOUNG PEOPLE 11 years + counselling

Children and young people can face so many challenges in todays world, understanding who they are and where they fit. Social media and pressures from peers, school or family can be confusing and it can be useful to talk to someone who is not going to judge the thoughts that maybe running through their minds and accpet them as they are.

Length of sessions can always be adapted if needed.

ABOUT ME

Hi, thank you for taking the time to look at my site. I have worked in the wellness industry for the past 15 years. After suffering a serious illness myself and realising how important it is to have a strong support network around you, be it family, friends and professionals I volunteered for a local charity that supports families with children under 5 yrs. This led me to training in counselling and finding my passion in helping people help themselves by working with them to find tools and ways that work for them to better their life in whatever they need and want. Working with adults and children & young people asks me to work in different ways and allows me to be more creative and intuitive in how to connect with the client, no one client is the same. I look forward to speaking to you and hopefully working together, Zoe
